Beyond the pass you enter one of the largest and most pristine parks in the Apennines, with centuries-old beech and fir woods, waterfalls and ancient monasteries such as Camaldoli and the Sanctuary of La Verna. It is a land to be experienced slowly, on foot or by bicycle.
